College Credit
College Credit/Articulation
One of the ways the Career Center is able to help students make the successful transition from high school to college is by offering college credit. In the majority of the programs at the Career Center, students are able to earn articulation credit. This means that the program at the Career Center replaces certain college level courses. To receive college credit a Career Center student would need good grades, good attendance and be able to demonstrate that she/he has the maturity to bypass the college-level courses. Students earning college credit can save tuition costs, shorten the time they spend in college and reduce the duplication of courses. The number of credit hours could change due to curriculum updates at the college level.
